This was all about autumn. At this time farmers already have their most precious crops and edibles: maize, legumes, vegetables, chestnuts, walnuts, pork meat… safely stored in chests and attics and are equipped to combat the hostile and cold winter. Days are shorter and nights gradually longer; the winter solstice will be back before we even realize, and Christmas along with it.
We embarked upon a journey that took us through Christmas time celebrations, Saint Agatha’s Day, Carnival, dancing and partying, crop harvesting, and so on and so forth. We have completed the cycle of the year’s seasons, but luckily it will start again and repeat itself year after year as it has been happening up to now.
