The Three Wise Men from the east are also part of our Christmas traditions. In Southern Euskal Herria the Three Kings bring children gifts on 6 January, the day of Epiphany. In the French Basque Country the tradition has been lost, and nothing but a few acts related to the Magi remain: let us remind, for instance, the Trufania service solemnly celebrated on every 5 January in Donibane-Lohizune.
