Tolosa Carnival is a long-standing traditional urban feast. Through years of observance, an old and inviolated tradition has been established embellished by songs and rites dating back to the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. Certain modern features have been added to the feast such as bull-fighting, drumming and the Txantxoak band mentioned in this song. And let us not forget about the popular Galtzaundi, the figure that represents Tolosa Carnival.

Donostia and Bera Carnivals are worth of mention too: gypsies, boilermakers, nursemaids, shepherds and the popular tunes adapted to the different scenarios fill the streets.
